María Tajada, former student of IADE Escuela de Diseño, presents her new collection "Afrocity".

María Tajada, former student of IADE Escuela de Diseño, has presented her latest collection Afrocity at the Gazzambo Gallery in Madrid. As she describes her new collection "It comes loaded with notes of sophistication, unique fabrics from Africa taken to the identity of the "chic" woman, urban and with personality".

Maria began her studies in Fashion Design at IADE and graduated from the Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Since then she has been a tireless traveler and worker and her work has been influenced by "conceptual and minimalist aspects, and by a deep interest in textile experimentation with new materials, compositions and prints".
