Students from IADE Escuela de Diseño dye ARCO 2014 Solán de Cabras blue

The best specialists in Design Press and Blogs continue to echo the installation of the Interior Design students of IADE Escuela de Diseño for Solán de Cabras in the VIP area of ARCO 2014.

Clara Fernández and Carlota Díaz de Bustamante, students of the IADE Escuela de Diseño, were the winners of the competition, prior to ARCO, proposed by ​Solán de Cabras to IADE Escuela de Diseño​. The theme of the competition was to create a piece that represented the power of water using the emblematic blue bottle. The students created an installation inspired by the flow of water generated by a spring. The result was the original 650-bottle skylight that the IADE students and some Solán de Cabras volunteers made with their own hands. This original installation was suspended over the visitors of the VIP area during the 5 days of the ARCO 2014 Fair.

We would like to congratulate once again all the participants of the project and especially Carlota Díaz de Bustamante and Clara Fernández, the students who created the project. Also to Juan Pablo de la Madrid, Professor of Projects at IADE and Mercedes Pérez de Castro, Director of the Interiors Department, who were always advising and guiding the students.

And of course, we would like to thank Solán de Cabras, especially Mónica Börner, and Carlos Urroz, director of ARCO for choosing IADE as the School of Design for the decoration of its VIP space.
